Gifter.org was co-founded recently by one of our terrific bloggers, Ben Yoskovitz. We love the idea of giving. Part of the reason why we succeed at TheGoodBlogs is because our members really believe in the concept. They give up some space on their blog to promote others. Invariably, they get something back in return, readers who didn't know they existed. There are no guarantees, no checks and balances that say you have to show your page so many times to get so many clicks to your blog. That's not what we're about, if you give to the blogosphere and help your fellow bloggers, over time, you'll get back more than you expected.

So here's our pledge to social networking experiments, startups and spreadig the 'love'. Until January 31, 2007, for every new member who joins and puts the widget on their blog, we will sponsor one wish on gifter.org for $1. For existing members, for every member who posts a wish and sends us an email letting us know, we will also sponsor that wish and mention you in our blog (we'll do a weekly roundup).
